Semester Schedule
The Communication Disorders Clinic at Florida Atlantic University (CDC-FAU) is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, excluding holidays or breaks observed by the university as a whole. Directions from I-95
COMING FROM THE NORTH: Take I-95 south; exit Glades Road and go east approximately one mile; FAU will be on your left. Upon entering the campus, follow signs for the College of Education Building.
COMING FROM THE SOUTH: Take I-95 north; exit Glades Road and go east approximately one mile; FAU will be on your left. Upon entering the campus, follow signs for the College of Education Building.
Directions from the Turnpike
COMING FROM THE NORTH: Take the Turnpike south; exit at Glades Road and go east approximately 6 miles; FAU is located on your left. Upon entering the campus, follow signs for the College of Education Building.
COMING FROM THE SOUTH: Take the Turnpike north; exit at Glades Road and go east approximately 6 miles; FAU is located on your left. Upon entering the campus, follow signs for the College of Education Building.
We are located in Bldg. 47 (College of Education) on the 4th Floor. Communication Disorders Clinic (CDC). The FAU entrance that is closer to I-95 is the most direct route. If you take this entrance, follow it around the curve to your right, and enter Parking Lot #8, the one on that corner. Look for a row of signs for “CDC Clients Only”. Please put the parking permission paper on your dashboard.
Grievance Procedures
Complaints about the Department or the CDC
Concerns about either the academic program or the clinical education of students need to be directed to the Department Chairperson. Other contacts may be made to ASHA, specifically the CAA (phone: 301-296-5700).
“The CAA will address concerns via the complaint process that are clearly related to a program’s compliance with accreditation standards. The CAA cannot intervene in disputes between individuals and programs, and cannot affect outcomes such as grade changes, reinstatement to the graduate program, employment, etc., as part of this complaint process.”
